I would Recommend this hostel for anyone visits rome. Ricardo the hostel owner was very friendly and helped us with information and other needs. 5 min. away from the central station by walk. very securied place. Good air condionig, clean, Tv (only italian). breakfast included!!!

One of the best places that we stayed in during our three weeks in Europe. We saved this one for near the end. Good way to finish. Ricardo and his staff were top notch -- very helpful regarding tips for places to see during our two nights there. They have a safe and air conditioning in the rooms. Good breakfast to get started in the morning. No complaints. Would stay here again and also recommend it to others.

Very clear, excellent location, it's quite near Termini, the main station in Rome, where you can take all the lines of subway, buses... Also very good breakfast (many many toasts!) Rooms good enough, very clean, air conditioner, Satellite TV. Only one thing, it is a bit difficult to find the place the first time. It's inside a building and there's no Serendipity signs outside. We finally had to call them and they were very nice and helpfull. Enjoy yourselves!

We just came back from our honeymoon of which the first three days were spent at Serendipity. We sure did luck out. This was an absolutely great place to stay. Not only is it a five minute walk to Termini Station but the place itself is clean and very friendly. Ricardo the owner was so helpful to us in every way. He recommended great dinner choices as well as even set us up with a cab service to the airport that was by far a better deal than one we would find. The breakfast was great, the coffee fabulous. What else can we say other than we actually miss the people and will surely stay there next time we are in Rome.

We were greeted by Riccardo with apple juice and water and shown our room which was extremely clean with everything you would expect including a safe. Riccardo gave us many tips on where to eat, how to enjoy parts of rome away from tourists, and suggested itineraries as well. The most helpful and friendliest residence I've ever stayed in.

This place is a gem, excellent value for the price. The proprietor, Riccardo, is helpful, informative, and funny. He is like a cousin you enjoy visiting (not the dipsomaniac uncle with the bad breath). His staff bends over backward to provide information and assistance. A plentiful breakfast (toast/rolls, juice, milk, coffee/tea) was included, and there is a small refrigerator for keeping fruit, yogurt, drinks if you want to supplement. This place is new, just opened in February 2006. The room A/C works so well you can get cold if you turn it up too high. A quiet location, even if it is on a busy street (double pane windows). Central to the train station/Metro/buses. Highly recommended if you are going to Rome.

The stay was fantastic in this hotel. 10-15 minutes walking distance from Termini, metro and main bus station. First impression, staffs are very friendly and helpful. They provided all necessary information, e.g. cheap way to eat, what time should be get to vitican before suffering few hrs of queing... The room and shower are very spacy and clean. TV provided with lot of channels. The room is cleaned with new towers given every day. Air-conditioning as well. Security is very good, they are located in a residence building, which required intercom before getting into the building area (No curfew, 24 reception), then you have to use intercom again to get into the building. Safety box is provided in the room where we found that very handy to keep our travel documents. This hotel is excellent. If you wish to have a good night sleep, regain your energy for next day travel, feel safe to travel around rome without worrying your travel document and more important... feel welcome. This hotel is highly recommended and worth the money.

Staff were fantastic, really friendly and helpful! The rooms were clean and very safe- with own personal safe in each room. The only main thing we noticed was that the external area it is located in is a little bit dirty, but in terms of proximity to public transport it was fantastic.

We had a great stay at Serendipity! Pros: * Clean, comfortable rooms with desks, balconies, and air conditioning. * Wi-fi available in the lobby area, and in some rooms near the front desk. * Free coffee and light breakfast in the mornings. * Staff goes out of their way to be helpful. * Short walk to Termini and metro stops. Cons: * Main thoroughfare on front side of building tends to be noisy, but patio doors do a serviceable job of quieting. * On third floor with tiny elevator that stopped working at one point in our stay, but was fixed the next day. Would not recommend for mobility-challenged travellers. Overall impression: Serendipity is a pleasant place to lay your head in between exploring the wonders of Rome. Highly recommended!

After arriving we were sent to another nearby hotel. Good room in city flat with small kitchen. 70euro. Cost free snacks and breakfast. Very friendly manager, maybe the owner, gave us a lot of advices.

Struttura eccezzionale! Una cordialità unica e le camere sono praticamente nuove. Ottima anche la posizione a 5 minuti dalla stazione, zona tranquilla. Consigliato vivamente a tutti.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time in Rome and one of the highlights was the incredible service we received from the owner of Serendipity, Riccardo. He is exactly the sort of person you would want to meet when arriving in a new city for the first time. He suggested all kinds of places to eat, how to travel around the city, and even sorted us out with bus information for our trip to the Amalfi coast. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visitng Rome.

Ausgesprochen freundliches Personal. Hotellage ist sehr zentral gelegen zu den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Hoteleingang an der Strasse ist nur schwer erkennbar, ebenso im Innenhof.

My only comment would be that the walls are very thin, which means you can hear people coming and going and those that are in the next room. Otherwise, we had a fantastic stay at Serendipity, the customer service was sensational.

Ich war überrascht, dass das Hotel ein Teil eines großen Wohnkomplexes war, es sollte daher besonders erwähnt werden. Positiv fand ich den kostenlosen Safe im Kleiderschrank. Empfehlenswert wäre es, das Frühstück nicht auf Plastikgeschirr (Suppenteller) zu servieren.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Well located close to the train station and Metro (A & B), and just 15 minutes walking from the Coliseum. Very clean and spacious rooms and bathrooms. 100% recommended.

Sehr empfehlendswertes Hotel. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und haben eine Menge Insidertipps zu Rom. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön gelegen und haben Aircondition. Das Hotel ist durch die Nähe zum Hauptbahnhof sehr gut zu erreichen. Sehr guter Service und uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen!

wir haben uns sehr wilkommen und wohl gefühlt, da die verständigung auf deutsch und englisch kein problem war. sehr positiv überrascht hat uns auch, dass die getränke mit im preis inbegriffen waren. ein kleines manko war allerdings das frühstück; es war ok, hätte aber auch gerne etwas größer, evtl. auch einheimischer ausfallen können. alles in allem waren es ein paar sehr schöne tage in einem überaus netten ambiente. falls wir nochmals rom besuchen, werden wir sicher wieder ein zimmer bei ihnen buchen.

Location was perfect to us -close to 2 subway stations and Termini and just 10 min away from Tiburtina Bus station. Despite a noisy road by the hotel, the room was quiet due to "noise" resistant windows. We felt that the hotel was very safe, comfortable and well maintained. Thanks for a working aircondition. Wewill recomenned to our friend as well.
